Profile: Ian grew up in Surrey before moving to Bristol where I read Law at Bristol University gaining a Law LLB Honours degree in 1995 and then progressed to pass my 'Bar' introductory exams to undertake the 1 year Bar Vocational Course at the 'Inns of Court School of Law', London, successfully passing the first stage and I was "Called" to the 'Bar' in 1996.
Since then, I have assisted clients in obtaining and defending divorce and child arrangement proceedings, helping to complete forms and attending court dates for morale and legal assistance.
Following recent Legal Aid changes the chance of now securing Legal Aid to fund a divorce is highly unlikely; as such I am offering my knowledge, training and experience as a 'McKenzie Friend'. My fees are substantially less than instructing a solicitor.
In summary I have a law degree form one of the best universities in the UK (Bristol) and have passed my Bar Vocational course.
